Hermle
“THREE MANUFACTURING FACILITIES. UNLIMITED INSPIRATION TO MARK TIME.”
HISTORY
Beginning as a family business in 1922 in Gosheim, Swabain Alb Germany. Once the hub of clock manufacturing in Europe this business has been flourishing ever since its beginning. Even today the Hermle people and products are renowned for their ingenuity, diligence, and workmanship.
Under the corporate name of HUM Uhrenmanufaktur GmbH & Co. KG, Hermle manufactures and distributes premium quality clocks, which are admired worldwide. Each individual clock exemplifies the craftsmanship of German clock making.
In addition to the Germany-based manufacturing plant the company expanded in 1977 and opened a manufacturing plant in Virginia, USA. This marked a whole new chapter of growth for the company as they were then able to utilize American imported hardwoods for the clock cases to pair with their highly sought after German quality mechanisms.
Hermle Black Forest Clocks was re-branded as Hermle North America in January of 2011 to reflect their vision of the future.
While the classic floor clock design captured the style and culture of the past, their new floor clocks display creativity and ingenuity with a look towards the future. Likewise, Hermle’s mantel clocks, both functional and beautiful are designed to impress.
