I bought this clock but cannot get the top part to go back and forth. What am I doing wrong? Ty
If the clock's parts are not moving at all, other than the hour and minute hands, then the movements and chimes are likely turned off. Look on the side of the clock and you will see some switches/buttons. These can turn the movement/chimes on and off and select the melody list you would like to play!
If the bottom half is moving but the top half is not moving there may be something wrong with the clock's movement or computer. Here are a couple of methods you can try to see if they get the top part moving again:
1. Make sure the clock is flat against the wall and not leaning on an angle.
2. Ensure that the batteries are fresh and have power.
2. Try to place the switches in different places to see if other melodies get the top part to move.
3. Try the "reset" button on the back of the clock. This resets the internal computer and can sometimes solve issues like these.
If those don't help you, try checking these manuals for a solution:
If these still don't help you, your clock may be damaged in some way. I recommend you contact the manufacturer in this case as they may have additional information on fixing the clock and/or getting a replacement under warranty or they may be able to help you with a spare part in the event your clock is damaged or defective. If you recently purchased the clock it is likely still under warranty and can be replaced. Rhythm's contact info is below:
