How do you set the time
Move the MINUTE hand around in a clockwise motion to the correct time than wind the clock fully. Do not move the hour hand as it could throw the chimes out of sync with the actual time. If the clock has a dial you can spin to set the time as opposed to moving the individual hands we recommend you use that dial.
If you have found that the clock tells the correct time but chimes at the incorrect time then all you have to do is move the HOUR hand to the time that corresponds with the most recent chime. For example, if it's chiming as if its 12 pm but the time is actually 3 pm, move the hour hand clockwise until the time is 12pm. Then move the minute hand clockwise until the time is 3 pm. This should have the clock tell the correct time and chime at the correct time as well.
If the clock tells time too fast or too slow, you are going to have to move the small nut at the bottom of the pendulum to elongate or shorten the pendulum swing. Spin left (longer pendulum) for a longer time and right (shorter pendulum) for a shorter time. you will have to modify this every so often until you find that it tells the time accurately.
